Design forms, collect data in any environment, validate submissions, and connect every record automatically to your logframe and donor reports — without leaving DELTA.
DELTA's data collection module is built around a single logical flow: design, collect, review, analyze. Every step is connected — so the data your field teams capture becomes indicator progress, dashboard content, and donor report material without manual re-entry.
Most MEL tools offer one or two ways to collect data. DELTA offers six native collection modes — and API integration for custom workflows — covering every scenario from a supervisor's desktop to a field agent with no connectivity in a remote district.
Manual data entry directly in the web interface — responsive to any device, any screen size.
OnlineFree Android app. Works online and fully offline. GPS, photo, and audio capture. Syncs automatically on reconnection.
Online & OfflineSend a shareable link to respondents — no login required. One submission per recipient when used as a survey.
No credentials neededImport existing datasets from spreadsheets — map columns to form fields and validate on import.
Bulk importImport forms and data from KoBoToolbox or Survey Solutions (World Bank) directly. Refresh at any time to sync new submissions.
API-connectedConnect any external data source to DELTA through our open API for custom collection workflows.
On requestDELTA's data collection module is not a survey app. It is a structured collection environment that sits inside a full MEL platform — where every record captured contributes to results tracking, geographic visualization, and institutional reporting.
Click a field type to add it to your form and see it appear in the mobile preview instantly. DELTA supports 12 field types — from basic text to GPS coordinates, scores, calculated formulas, and photo capture.

Don't rebuild what works. DELTA connects natively with KoBoToolbox, Survey Solutions (World Bank), and Excel — so your existing data flows directly into your logframe, validation workflows, and portfolio reporting.
Field agents collect data offline for days at a time — GPS-tagged, photo-documented — and everything syncs automatically when back in range. No manual transfer, no data loss.
Standardize data collection across districts with shared form templates and validation workflows. Supervisors review centrally. Headquarters sees the full picture in real time.
Connect field submissions directly to your logframe indicators. What enumerators collect becomes indicator progress, disaggregated by gender, location, or any custom dimension — automatically.
Yes. DELTA's free Android app works fully offline. Field agents select the forms and projects they need, download them to the device, and collect data — GPS coordinates, photos, audio, and all structured fields — without any internet connection. Records sync automatically when connectivity is restored.
DELTA supports five modes: (1) on-screen manual entry in the web app, (2) the mobile app for field agents online or offline, (3) a shareable external link for respondents who need no system credentials, (4) Excel import for bulk data, and (5) direct KoBoToolbox API import. Each mode is available from the same form interface.
Yes. DELTA includes a multi-step validation workflow. Supervisors can assign statuses (Valid, In process, Invalid, To delete) to individual or batches of records. Workflows can be configured with multiple steps — collection, verification, approval — each assigned to a specific team member, with notification badges when action is required.
Form fields can be linked directly to logframe elements, indicators, and disaggregation categories during form design. When a validated submission is approved, DELTA automatically updates the corresponding indicator actuals — disaggregated by gender, location, age, or any custom dimension — and refreshes dashboards in real time.
Yes. DELTA connects directly to KoBoToolbox via API token — import the form structure and historical data, then use "Refresh Data" to keep records up to date. Excel datasets can also be imported and mapped to any existing form. You keep using the tools your teams know and gain DELTA's logframe linkage on top.
Yes. The full data collection module — including offline mobile sync, validation workflows, and logframe linkage — is available in both DELTA's SaaS and on-premise deployment modes. This is particularly relevant for government programs with data sovereignty requirements.
